Anchovy paste is a foul smelling food that only appears in "Shoo Ed" where Edd feeds it to Jonny by brushing his teeth with it in order to make him have smelly breath and be more annoying.
The paste is known to have a very bad and fishy smell as the stench was rotten enough to make Edd's eyeswater, Rolf's hair stand up, and even make Jimmy faint. Also, Edd claims, "The person who invented this smelly salty fish dish should have been imprisoned for the rest of their life." Only Rolf likes the paste; when Jonny breathed in his face, Rolf recognized the smell and was even able to pinpoint what year it was from. Rolf also says, "Hail to the anchovy! Rolf respects the stench." It is likely that the paste is praised in Rolf's culture.

- An anchovy paste-flavored jawbreaker appears in Ed, Edd n Eddy - The Mis-Edventures with the description saying "A fine year!" (a reference to Rolf's comment on 1952).
- Rolf is the only person shown to like anchovy paste.
