Ed, Edd n Eddy

Lemon Brook is a town that is mentioned in Ed, Edd n Eddy. Like Peach Creek, they also have a junior high school with a football team, the Lemon Brook Lumpers, which rivals the Peach Creek Cobblers as seen in "Tight End Ed."

Lemon Brook is also the home of an abandoned gag factory that appears to be just outside of the town. The factory makes its only appearance in Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show, when the Eds head to it in an attempt to track down Eddy's Brother through usage of their personnel records. Specifically, they hoped to find records of his business transactions if he was only a customer, and to find an address if he was an employee of the factory.

Overall Opinion[]

Lemon Brook is very much hated by Peach Creek. Eddy describes the citizens there as "Mascot hating lemon suckers." This is largely due to the fact that after the game in "Tight End Ed," the Lumpers kidnapped Eddy, taped him to the back of their bus, stuffed his mouth with lemons, and drove away with him.

Trivia[]

  • Head writer Rachel Connor has said that the name Lemon Brook is an homage to the English soap opera, Brookside. Not only was Brookside based in her native Liverpool, but the series also takes place in a cul-de-sac much like Peach Creek.
