The Grappling Hook Gun was shown in the episode "In Like Ed" when Ed tried to infiltrate Jimmy's birthday party. The gun uses air from the hair dryer to shoot the grappling hook. It then tightens, allowing the user to use a hook or, in Ed's case, their tongue to slide across to the house. It is one of Edd's five experimental machines.
