The Jawbreaker Chronicle is a newspaper based off the show Ed, Edd n Eddy. The JBC was created in 2002 by Justin a.k.a. "Daggett." It is hosted by Tripod.com. The format is very similar to the Gravy Inquirer from which it was inspired. The JBC covered stories from the Cul-de-Sac while inserting its own characters, with often hilarious results. The characters were merely the writers themselves such as Justin, John, and Dr. Eric. The characters would cover stories from the Cul-de-Sac while interviewing the kids themselves. The site started out very basic, but evolved over time adding more and more sections to the site as well as issues. A new site was eventually created entitled The JBC Exclusive. It was essentially the same site, but with a cleaner look to it. The JBC Exclusive hosted some of the same links of the old site, but did not include as many pages as the original site in order to prevent clutter. The JBC enjoyed moderate success and was considered to be a top Ed, Edd n Eddy site in its heyday. The project was discontinued in mid 2007 only months after the JBC Exclusive was created. As of 2012, the website has been removed from its host site.
|“||I decided to discontinue the site due to multiple reasons. The main reason being that I sadly had lost interest in the project in 2007. The JBC name was active for over five years which is enough time for me. I appreciate the work my writers have done over the years, especially my close friend Eric who was a good sport. I would also like to give a big thanks to the readers who put up with us for five years and enjoyed reading our crazy articles. The project was a lot of fun and I made some good friends along the way. Thank you for everything.||”|

RevivialThe JBC has been revived on Wix.com and is made by the same person who made Cartoon Network Interactive; this person going under the alias "ToastEd." It was originally on Webs.com, but due to the free package restrictions, the website was switched. The first issue was uploaded on July 27, 2014 and is now being frequently updated. The revival has kept some of the logos and designs from the original JBC, but is brand new with follow up stories. Unlike the previous one, the revival will also feature the articles' mini-stories such as Captain Melonhead, which is based on Jonny 2x4's persona and Plank's Amazing Adventures, focusing on Plank. The tagline of the newspaper is "When Scandals meet Sandals." Like the previous version, it will feature articles and stories about the Eds; including interviews with the characters as well. Twelve issues have been released so far.
|“||Hey, GUYS! That's right; were back. I had a long time hiatus on this project because of schoolwork, animation work and lack of help. But now that I have an editor by my side, I am no longer capable of doing this project alone. The first issue's cleared up and we're keeping production to make our readers happy. Better glue your eyeballs to the screen because we're gonna keep this up for as long as you like.||”|
