The episode begins at Edd's garage where the Eds are doing an inspection on Edd's insect collection. A bug is shown crawling on a table, but Edd catches him with some tongs and says, "Not so fast, little fella!". Edd then drops the insect into a jar. As it crawls around the jar, Ed notes he saw this thing in a movie called 'I Married A Thorax'. Edd then starts checking off all the bugs in his collection. He checks off the ants, the millipedes, and the moths. Eddy, inspecting a jar, dully states, "Yep, it's a bug!". Eddy puts down the jar and dully waits for Edd to finish. Edd then tells Eddy the time has arrived for his monthly insect expedition while brandishing a vacant jar. Edd then gives Eddy a pair of galoshes and a pair of sterile gloves to avoid bacteria and germs. Eddy states that insects bug him. Edd then gives Edd a pair for gloves and a shovel. Eddy is then shown wearing a glove as a suit and a boot as a hat. Eddy claims he is ready. Edd is then shown banging a nail with a hammer before Ed, wearing a glove on his head, interrupts him by getting too close to him and saying, "Fetch!". Ed then blows the glove up with his nose before it shoots off of his head and sends Ed flying backwards into some equipment in the garage. Edd states they should proceed to the forest. As Edd leads the way, Eddy is shown bored at the idea of going along with this expedition. Ed then comes up with a jar stuck on his head. Eddy tells Ed, "Follow Nature Boy." before following Edd. Ed smiles, but Eddy then grabs Ed by the nose and drags him along.
It then shows the Eds in gloves and boots going through the forest with Ed taking a shovel with them. Edd asks his friends, "Isn't it magnificent? All the splendors of nature displayed in one giant petri dish full of life!". Ed swallows nervously and states he thinks he swallowed a bug. While Ed is holding his neck, Eddy hears a noise and asks what was that. The forest starts to become very foggy. Eddy yells at his friends that that is it as this nature stuff is for the birds before storming off. After Eddy turns a corner, he screams and a terrified Ed and Edd question, "Eddy?". Ed and Edd follow where Eddy went. They then see that Eddy is staring at an enormous spider web and is terrified. Ed and Edd see the web and are surprised at it. Ed then becomes fascinated by the web and states it is way big. Edd states it's a masterpiece of nature. Eddy states it looks like his grandmother's hairnet. Eddy states they should go, but then he sees Ed on the web which freaks him out. Ed is then shown on the web and making it bounce up and down. Eddy yells at him, "Get down, you maniac!". Ed states the web is sticky. Edd tells Ed he is disturbing the eco-environment. Giggling is then heard which Edd hears and he is quite disturbed by it. Ed asks what was that. Edd states to Ed he has done it and states that he suggests something to Ed, but he gets cut off at the word 'suggest' due to the giggling being heard again. Edd becomes scared at the giggling while Eddy starts shivering in fear at what is stalking them. The Eds then hear people chanting, "Ed, Edd 'n Eddy. Sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G.". Ed, after hearing the chanting, struggles on getting out, but he can't get off of the web. Ed pleads his friends to help him as he doesn't want the fluids drained from his body. Eddy rushes forward and tells Ed to hold on as they will rescue him. Eddy grabs Ed by the legs and starts pulling hard to get Ed off. Edd then assists by pulling Eddy by the legs while Eddy is puling Ed by the legs. The chanting from earlier then continues in a non-stop manner. After an eventual amount of pulling by Edd and Eddy, they get Ed off of the web, but Ed then crashes into his friends, knocking them all into a tree.
The Eds regain conscious and are incredibly freaked out by the giggling of the unknown things that are stalking them. The Eds get up and try to run away from whatever is following them, but they soon screech to a halt due to seeing three pairs of eyes staring at them as well as the same chanting from before. The freaked out Eds then run off to somewhere else, but after a while they screech to a halt because they see the same three pairs of staring eyes as well as hear the same chanting. The Eds are now incredibly scared and they quickly run away. After a while, Edd points to his friends there is a way out through those trees. They then jump over a log, but then they fall into a huge river of quicksand. The Eds surface out and struggle to get out, but are unable to. Eddy pleads for help as they are in quicksand. The quicksand had unfortunately gotten not only on the Eds' bodies, but also into the Eds' eyes. They then begin struggling on getting the quicksand out of their eyes. Eddy cries out for help again. Ed then cries out he is blind while Edd cries out, "My eyes!" due to his eyes being covered in quicksand. When the Eds finally get the quicksand out of their eyes, they horrifyingly see what is stalking them. Three unknown figures then show up in front of the Eds. The Eds get so scared and freaked out by this that they scream in terror and before they get knocked out by their attackers and the screen blacks out before all the Eds see is darkness.
It then goes to a trailer park before the scene focuses on a blue trailer. The Eds suddenly find themselves being stared at by three girls. The center girl claims they are so happy the Eds dropped in, but the Eds are still a bit shocked and horrified due to the forest experience which only seemed a while ago. The blue-haired claims to the Eds that they hope the Eds like their dads' robes. The Eds get up and look down. They are shocked they are in robes that are labeled Bubba, Rod, and Butch. As the Eds move their hands around the robes, Eddy asks how did they get into these. The three girls then approach the Eds and try to kiss them, but this freaks the Eds out and forces them to quickly move away from them, however the girls giggle at the Eds' actions. The Eds are then shown with their backs against the wall while shivering. Edd notes this is not good. The girls gather around the Eds and the red-haired one claims they can go ahead and yell because nobody will hear them. The blue haired girl is then shown blowing a gum bubble before it pops off-screen. The blonde haired girl introduces herself as May. The blue haired girl blows and pops her gum bubble again before introducing herself as Marie. The red haired girl introduces herself as Lee. Lee then states the three girls are the "The Kanker Sisters" and they have just moved into town. Eddy introduces himself and Ed then introduces himself. When Edd tries to introduce himself, Marie cuts him off by claiming they know who he is as he is Double D. Marie claims they don't need to worry about that. As the Eds become more nervous, Eddy asks the Kankers where their clothes are. Lee states they are drying outside and the Eds sure were dirty back there in the quicksand. Eddy is then surprised before he becomes confused. Lee claims that she and her sisters are going to pop into the kitchen and fix the Eds some home cooking for them. Marie claims they will be right back before they go to the kitchen. The Kankers are then shown going into the kitchen while Marie is stating, "Wait for me!" as they go off.
Edd notes this is very strange. He states they should go. Right when he tries to make a break for it, Eddy grabs him by the robe and pulls him back in. Eddy tells him to hold it and asks him where is his manners as the Kankers are new here and they said they were going to make them some food. Eddy states they should hang out for a bit, eat for free, and then they can split. Eddy tells his friends they should check the place out. As Ed and Eddy go check around the place, Edd asks where exactly are they in. Eddy then looks out a window and sees that they have awaken in a trailer park stating that it looks like a postcard he sent to his brother once.
While Edd looks through a bookshelf, Ed notices a television and approaches it. Ed becomes fascinated by the TV and proceeds in turning it on to watch a show, but the screen only displays static. Ed angrily bangs on its top and then bangs on its sides to make it work, but static still appears on the TV. Ed becomes greatly infuriated on the TV not working, so he turns the knob to try and change the channel, but he only ends up turning the TV off. Ed claims to his friends it's a re-run. Ed sees a diving helmet and picks it up. Ed notes it's a nice space helmet. He then puts it on and states, "Take me to your plumber." before walking off. Eddy laughs and claims, "Nice head, Ed!" as he passes by Ed and stops near the TV. Eddy then asks Ed, "Get it? It rhymes!". Eddy then walks pass Edd and notes to himself, "Head? Ed? I crack me up.". Edd finds a book called "Hub Cap Digest" and finds it interesting enough to read. Edd opens the book and finds the no words on the pages. Edd states this book has no print and the pages are blank. Eddy is then heard laughing. Eddy is then shown pointing at something he thinks is funny and he tells Edd to look as it's artwork. The artwork shows three pictures showing an Ed with a Kanker in a romantic way, hinting at the Kankers' crush on the Eds. The first drawing was of Ed and May with their arms over each other's shoulders which Eddy laughs at and he then notes that it is very cute. The second drawing was of Edd and Marie staring dreamily into each other's eyes. A shocked Edd asks if that is him while Eddy laughs at that drawing. The last drawing was of Eddy and Lee at the wedding altar (complete with a tuxedo on Eddy and a wedding dress for Lee). Eddy, upon seeing this, shouts "What the?" before screaming and recoiling in horror at the drawing. Eddy quickly crumples the drawing up into a ball and screams that isn't funny.
Marie walks in with a plate holding three glasses of milk and states, "Okay, boys! Come and get some nice, cold, delicious powdered milk!". She then sets the plate on the table and leaves. The Eds then come to the table and take a glass. Ed and Eddy take a drink and they each exhale white powder from their mouths before going back to drinking. Edd sniffs his glass and takes a drink only to cough out white powder from his mouth. Marie then comes in and puts a video into the VCR, asking if the Eds want to watch a video. She then turns the TV on and claims the video is "Fish Bowl 2", which she calls a classic. The Eds then sigh and sink into the couch while still holding onto the glasses.
Elsewhere, the Kankers are in the kitchen cooking "Kanker Burgers". Marie notes it's so nice to have the boys home. May sees that Marie is holding the "Fish Stix" and becomes angry. May then takes the "Fish Stix" from Marie and claims she is doing the "Fish Stix". Marie angrily tells May to give her the cheesy squeeze-up log then. Lee then yells at her sisters to be quiet as they got lunch to make. Lee then opens up a dish full of lard. Lee claims the way to a man's heart is through his arteries before dumping the lard on the burgers. She claims the way is also through a little Kanker special sauce, which is ketchup. Lee then grabs a barrel of ketchup and dumps a lot of it onto the burgers.
The Kankers soon finish making the burgers. They then give it to the Eds and declare to them that dinner is ready. The scent of the food tantalizes the Eds so much that they levitate towards the burgers. They then take the food, go back to the couch and start eating the burgers. The Kankers then sigh and note that the Eds are so dreamy. They then walk upstairs and tell the Eds they are going to "freshen up". As the Eds eat the burgers, Eddy stops eating for a moment because he bit on something strange. Eddy takes the thing out of his mouth and it's revealed to be a gear. Eddy throws the gear away and resumes eating. As Edd eats the burger, he burps a bit before taking another bite. Edd then rips out some excessively stringy sauce with his teeth before chowing down on it. Ed is then shown scarfing down on his burger. After eating the burger a bit, Ed sticks a straw into the burger and starts drinking it.
The Kankers return, dressed in more conservative attire, in hopes to win the affections of the Eds. The Kankers declare to the Eds they're back. The Kankers approach the Eds, who are too preoccupied with eating and watching TV to notice the sisters. Marie asks Eddy if he notices anything new, but Eddy is too busy eating to respond. Marie waves her hand in front of Eddy, but he still doesn't respond, so she angrily leaves. Lee then gets close to Eddy and claims that what she is wearing is the finest in product by-products. She then claims it's only the best for Eddy, but Eddy asks if she could give him a refill on the powdered milk which does not make Lee happy. May asks Ed if he likes their Kanker Burger and Ed responds with, "It's good! Yum!" while he has food in his mouth. May angrily tells him to not talk with his mouth full. Edd is then shown too busy eating. Marie places a pillow in between Edd and the couch which startles him while he rips out a part of the stringy sauce with his teeth. This in turn causes Marie to be startled. Edd tells Marie to refrain from touching him while he's eating before saying "Thank you!". After Edd slurps in the stringy sauce. Marie angrily points at Edd and tells him she will touch him whenever she wants. Edd asks if there is a problem, but the Kankers claim that everything is just fine. The TV is then shown and it shows that it is still playing 'Fishbowl 2'. The Kankers then get in front of the TV with their arms crossed. Eddy tells the Kankers to move and get out of the way as this is the best part. Lee, enraged, questions Eddy, "Move it?". Marie angrily gets in Eddy's face and states it's not enough that they've worked hard and broken their backs for the Eds. Lee then gets in Ed's face and states they're leaving if things don't change around here. May then gets in Edd's face and states to the Eds it's time they started to pull their(the Kankers) own weight around here. Ed asks Eddy what is up with them. Eddy can't think of a reason, so he turns his eyes over to Edd, but Edd can't figure it out either and just shrugs his shoulders. Marie points at the small table of dirty dishes and tells the Eds to clean this mess up right now. The Eds go over to the table and try to clean it up, but they're interrupted by Lee who yells at them to get over here. The Eds rush on over to Lee, but they knock down the table, causing the stuff on the table to fall onto the floor. Lee then yells at the Eds to clean this mess. It then shows the food remnants from the burgers along with some other trash. The Eds are surprised that the pile is that big. Ed then runs on over to the couch. Ed then lifts it up and ushers his friends on putting the trash under the couch. Eddy and Edd then push the trash pile until it is under the couch. Ed then removes his arm from the couch in an attempt to get the couch to hide the trash. Eddy and Edd then get onto the couch and smile, but Lee asks them if they call that clean which makes the Edd and Eddy groan. Lee then throws a pile of laundry to Eddy and tells him to get washing. Marie then hands Edd a brush and tells him to get scrubbing. Lee then grabs Edd by the ear and tells him, "Come along, little man!" before taking Edd away. Marie grabs Eddy by his hairs and tells him it's time to clean up before taking him away. Ed laughs at this, but Marie then hands him a toilet brush and states he has to clean up too. Ed takes the toilet brush and leaves to go use it for cleaning the toilet.
It then goes to the Kankers' bathroom. Ed, who is wearing the diving helmet that he was fascinated with earlier, peeks out of the toilet while still holding the toilet brush. May opens up the toilet lid and tells him he better make it shine before slamming the lid shut on Ed. Ed goes down through the toilet to clean it up more. Elsewhere, Edd is busy cleaning up dishes when Ed suddenly dives out of the sink and onto the kitchen floor, destroying a lot of dishes. A frustrated Edd tells Ed that he ruined his dishes, but Ed gets up and walks away, claiming to Eddy, who is passing by with some laundry, he's heading outside. Eddy calls Ed a slacker, but he then bumps into Edd, causing them to drop the dishes and laundry they were holding. Lee, painting her toenails, hears the scuffle and states that had better be fighting over her she is hearing over there. Ed is then shown wiping the windows clean. He finishes with the window he is doing and moves on to the next one. Edd and Eddy get up but they are now soaked. Edd states he is going to sanitize the living area before leaving. An angry Eddy sarcastically claims he will clean this mess up while holding some of the laundry he was holding as well as some of the broken dishes. Eddy then throws the pile he is holding into the sink and shoves it down the sink with his feet, sarcastically claiming he will clean everything.
Edd is then shown washing the floor with a sponge. The Kankers who are relaxing on the couch states he had better shine it up nice. Ed, who has just finished wiping the windows, comes in, but his feet are covered in mud. The Kankers yell at Ed he is tracking mud while calling him a mud tracker. Edd, who is shocked that the floor has become dirty again, questions "Mud?". Ed looks behind and sees that he did track mud. Ed says "Uh oh!" in response to finding out. Ed then looks at his feet and sees they are covered in mud while saying "Uh oh!" again. Ed walks forward, but he looks at the mud track he is leaving behind. He then steps on the bucket Edd was using, causing him to slide forward uncontrollably. May yells at Ed he better not wreck their dad's bucket. Ed then slides into the kitchen. Eddy hands him some laundry and tells him to hang these outside. Ed says ok as he slides back to the living room. Ed then trips over Edd, causing him to fall down and drop the laundry. Lee grabs him by the robe and states that sailors are all alike. She then scolds Ed some more, but Ed can't hear what she is saying since he is wearing the helmet. Lee then angrily yells at Ed he should go back to diving for clams. Eddy throws Ed away from Lee and states that is enough. This however hurts the Kankers greatly. A surprised Eddy questions "Okay?". Marie sadly questions if this is the thanks they get for all their hard work. They then cry as they run back to their room. The door then slams shut. Eddy, realizing he did something wrong, says "Uh-oh!". The Eds then head upstairs.
The Kankers are shown on their bed crying. May states to her sisters they, "the girls", have to get themselves together. The Eds open the door and peek inside in an attempt to apologize, but May angrily questions if they had done enough already. She then yells at them to leave and never return before slamming the door shut.
Without a second thought, or empathy, Eddy notes to his friends, "Well you heard her. Let's go!". Edd notes this has been quite educational. The Eds reach the entrance and Eddy states hello to freedom. Eddy opens the door, but when he looks at what is outside, he freaks out. It then shows the Kankers blocking the exit while wearing mud masks and hair curlers. May states they should hold a minute there as the Eds didn't say goodbye to Eddy Junior while brandishing a doll version of Eddy. She then pulls on the string that is on the Eddy doll, causing it to laugh like Eddy. Lee then brandishes an Ed doll, stating they didn't say goodbye to Ed Junior. Marie then brandishes an Edd doll and May then says the Eds shouldn't forget Double D Junior. This is enough to cause the Eds to scream in terror. The dolls are then held further into the Eds' face and Eddy states, "That's it!". He then yells to his friends, RUN FOR IT!". The Eds then dart past the Kankers and run for their lives out of the trailer park. Lee yells at the Eds, "That's it! Run, you cowards!". May tells them to get lost and Marie yells at them to don't trip on their shoelaces. After the Eds run out of the trailer park, the Kankers become happy and lovestruck. May notes to her sisters to look at them run. Marie notes they run like a real man. Lee then blows a kiss and states she thinks she is in "L-U-V love!". The Kankers then sigh happily. The Kankers then laugh evilly as the episode irises in on them with the iris-in being in the form of three hearts on each of the Kankers' faces, hinting that this isn't the last the Eds will see of the sisters.

Trivia/Goofs
Edit
- The Kanker Sisters make their debut appearance in this episode.
- The Kanker Sisters mention that they have three dads, as implied by the names on the robes they give Ed, Edd, and Eddy. For that to work, their mother would have to be married to three different men whose last names are Kanker, which is extremely unlikely, or if the sisters' mother's last name was Kanker it would be possible, either by the dads taking the last name Kanker (though this is unlikely) or if she were to have the girls out of wedlock (which is much more likely, considering the comments the Kanker Sisters make about the things their mother taught them), or after the divorce, they kept their mother's last name. The sisters' mother also could have never married the fathers and is still single and could have had a child with each one. Also, as the men are named Butch, Bubba, and Rod, which are all possible nicknames, it could be that it's the same man, with three nicknames.
- Eddy's Brother is first mentioned when Eddy says "Looks like a postcard I sent my brother once" while looking out the window of the trailer.
- When the burgers were done and the scent whisked them away, you could hear mysterious whispering say "Ed, Edd, n Eddy".
- Marie mentions that the movie is "Fish Bowl 2", which has fake fish swimming with visible lines. The same movie is shown on TV in other episodes.
- This is the first episode where no scams take place.
- This is the first episode we see Marie with both eyes shown instead of just one eye.
- This is the first episode where all the kids don't appear.
- This is the first episode where The Cul-de-Sac was not shown. However, Edd's House did appear on the inside.
- This is the first episode where both The Woods and The Trailer Park are seen.
- When Marie puts in Fish Bowl 2 for the Eds to watch, two video tapes underneath the cabinet are marked "Fish Tank 1" and "Fire Place".
- Eddy can be seen with his middle finger extended (an offensive gesture) when he puts on the body glove. Whether this was an unintentional mistake or some mischievous joke the creators decided to slip into the episode remains uncertain. It should be noted that Eddy had four fingers when he first put on the glove yet he only had three fingers in the infamous frame, suggesting that the creators intentionally left out a finger in order for the gesture to stand out better.
- When we see the Kankers' eyes, all of them are wide open. However, Marie keeps one covered and Lee has both her eyes covered, but they have uncovered their eyes on purpose to make them seem a little more scary or to see if the Eds were actually the Eds.
- When Eddy says "That's it!" his mouth doesn't move.
- At one point, where the Eds are cleaning up the trailer (as such, when May says, "You better not wreck Daddy's bucket!"), Marie's voice is heard instead of May's. It also occurs when May hands Ed the toilet brush and tells him "And you!".
- When Ed is on the spiderweb, his gloves disappear.
- Before the scene changes to the Kankers' trailer, the Eds were quivering in fear. When the scene zooms up to Edd's face in fear, his gap is missing.
- When the camera shows the name on the robe Ed's wearing Eddy's fingers are shown; same thing for the robe Eddy is wearing: when the camera shows the name on the robe Eddy is wearing Edd's fingers are shown.
- In Lee and Eddy's picture, the "E" in "Me" is backwards, but when the Kankers went to make food the "E" wasn't backwards.
- The Kanker's trailer appears to be a lot larger on the inside and somehow has a second level upstairs inside the trailer.
- As the Eds scream upon first seeing the Kankers the colors go negative and the Eds switch places. This can be seen in the gallery.
- This is the first episode where the Eds and Kankers only appear, the second was "O-Ed Eleven".
- The diving helmet that Ed puts on is seen again in "Don't Rain on My Ed" as part of their Futuristic Scam. So because Ed liked wearing the helmet through most of the episode, it could be possible he took it with him and kept it since.
- After the Eds push the trash under the couch, the couch is shown to be unable to keep the trash down. Later the trash is shown under the couch again, but this time the couch is keeping the trash down.
- The Ed Junior doll is shown again in "Ed Overboard".
- In this episode, the Kankers' bedroom is on the first floor, but in every other episode that shows it, it's on the second floor.
