The player can choose to play as either Ed, Edd, or Eddy. The player must control the mouse to move their top left and right. To release the top so it may spin forward, the player must click on the mouse. Tops are released from the left and right, possessing varying speeds, and spin all the way to the opposite side. The player must keep hitting those tops and must simultaneously keep track of their energy meter. With every top released, the energy meter decreases, but with every top hit, the energy meter increases. It is possible to hit two or more tops with only one, and doing so helps lengthen the player's energy meter to a greater extent.
