He played the role of Flash in the Canadian television drama The Odyssey from 1992 to 1994. He is also known for his voice work done for Vancouver's Ocean Group and Mainframe Entertainment, primarily in the anime genre.

After the movie, fellow Ed, Edd n Eddy voice actors Samuel Vincent and Matt Hill revealed and confirmed that Sampson retired from voice acting and currently works in the oil sands of Fort McMurray, Alberta, where he operates heavy equipment.
